View Article  K-Fuel Shipment Update

We've made some additions to our shipment update, reflecting additional shipments during the second quarter.  It can be found here on the blog, and we've also posted this to our Investor Info page.   It reflects selected shipments of K-Fuel®.

We're still compiling  information on some of the shipments (thus some of the columns are grayed out pending final confirmation on boiler type, MACT compliance, etc), but we're posting it in its current form in the interest of making periodic updates to the table.    I think it's important to note that several of our customers are taking repeat shipments of K-Fuel®, which provides a solution to their needs.

View Article  Steve Wolff joins Evergreen as EVP of Engineering

By Kevin Collins, President and CEO

Today I'm pleased to announce that we've named a former utility power company president and nuclear submarine commander as our executive vice president of engineering.  In this newly created position, Steven Wolff will oversee all aspects of engineering and mechanical support for the development of K-Fuel® coal refineries, from our Ft. Union plant in Gillette, Wyoming to the construction of new coal refineries.

In addition to providing strong leadership and expertise as head of our internal engineering group, Steven will work with Bechtel Power, Sumitomo Corporation and other key Evergreen allies as we work together to deliver an immediately available solution to the world’s coal-related energy and environmental needs.

Steve brings 30 years of engineering and management expertise to Evergreen, serving most recently as president of power production at Dayton Power and Light, where he led 550 employees in the delivery of 4400 mega-watts of electricity generation.

He brings a wealth of engineering knowledge and a record of strong leadership to Evergreen.  During the past few months we conducted an extensive search for someone with the skills to lead our engineering group. We’re pleased that Steven sees the promise of K-Fuel® refined coal, and as we move toward gearing up to build new plants, his presence will expand our expertise in operations, management and power generation.
