Dr. Patrick Zimmerman, founder and chief technology officer of our wholly owned subsidiary C-Lock Technology Inc., and I will appear before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works at a field hearing this Tuesday, August 14, in San Jose, CA.
Right now there are literally dozens of bills in Congress addressing energy policy, global warming, federal oversight of emerging carbon credits markets and other related topics.
The chairwoman of this committee, Senator Barbara Boxer, D-CA, is leading the charge in the U.S. Senate for legislation to address global warming. Patrick Zimmerman and I will use this opportunity to talk about the the positive emissions profile of K-Fuel® refined coal and the potential C-Lock holds to generate new revenue for farmers and new credibility for these nascent carbon trading markets.
The hearing is titled “Green Jobs from Action on Global Warming,” and we will also cite refined coal and the C-Lock process as two examples of new greener energy technologies and how they can lead to job creation.
I will report back to you next week after the hearing.
